CLIENT CHALLENGES / PAIN POINTS

In this situation, this division’s executive and regional leader were both relatively new to the organization and had spent little time in the field. Also, the acting field manager had no training in effective management skills. The field environment had become very contentious and out of the realm of expertise within the upper-level management.

 

TYANN’S SOLUTION

TyAnn dove in and helped this client immediately diffuse the situation by pinpointing the behavior problems’ root cause. Once tensions were lowered, she provided skill-building training to the involved employees, field manager, and regional leader to help them identify and better leverage each person’s strengths on the team.

She also provided individual coaching to specific employees and the management team. With her guidance, they instituted personnel changes, which immediately improved morale and productivity.  

CONCLUSION

Follow-up coaching revealed a much more positive environment. The executive shared TyAnn’s success with other company leaders, and she was asked to provide additional coaching and training to other divisions. She also conducted a Strengths-Based Leadership Workshop and multiple coaching engagements for executives at the company’s headquarters.
