To begin, TyAnn evaluated the client’s strengths, as well as his 90-day plan for the agency. Her evaluation revealed that the client was highly reserved and introverted. She also found that his 90-day plan - although tactical - lacked the big picture strategy needed to foster and support the agency’s current and future growth.

Her first task was to help him clarify his leadership brand and utilize his strengths best to maximize agency performance. Next, TyAnn coached the client to think strategically about the organization, rather than tactically – which was only slowing him down. Her coaching helped him create an organizational structure around his strategy that focused on talent and outcomes.

Also, she helped him identify his predecessor’s strengths to create a valuable role that maximized his tribal knowledge and contribution, thus deflating tension between them.

  

CONCLUSION

Thanks to his collaboration with Tyann, the client led the agency to secure new funding sources and launch additional sites, thus increasing the impact to targeted populations. Additionally, he utilized TyAnn to help build out his C-level leaders and provide them with the same coaching level.
